Christmas is nearly here! We're approaching the season of advent, anticipating the coming of Jesus, getting ready to celebrate with joyful hearts.
Over recent weeks we've shared about invitation and the way an invite can change the course of someone’s life. I’ve been hearing some great stories as people have planted invitations. It’s so important that we remember that the success is in inviting.
The Christmas season presents many opportunities for us to invite others to "come and see" the One we have found in Jesus. The carol services on Sunday 9th December are one such opportunity. We’re creating room by running the same service twice; first at 5pm which is great for those with older children or wanting an earlier evening, and then at 7.30pm. There are then a number of other great services that are detailed below and also HERE.
My encouragement to us all this Christmas is that we make room for Jesus. In the nativity story, the innkeeper just about made room for Jesus! Lets wholeheartedly make choices to make room for Jesus this Christmas. As a church, let’s generously make room & warmly welcome those who are looking for Jesus, inviting them into life in Jesus, the One who comes to find us.
We’d love you to join us & invite others to come with you, to our Christmas services:
