The youth-work at Riverside starts when young people hit secondary school. The Sunday morning group is called TRIBAL. The group meets in the main auditorium to worship with the whole church at 10:30am and then leaves for an hour of games & interactive discussion around the Bible, prayer and some hanging out in the youth room. From 11am. The older youth tend to congregate at our 7pm sunday service or join the adult congregation on Sunday mornings, but there is a monthly gathering called "LINK" during our morning service for some more in-depth bible-study with Pete and Jon. Junior Explorers is a midweek homegroup for those in years 5 and 6 at school that meets twice a month. Our aim is to get to know Jesus, get to know the Bible and get to know one another. There are several midweek homegroups that run specifically for young people in the church to gather and get to know each other and God on a deeper level. Riverside Vineyard Church has a child protection and safeguarding policy approved by the Churches' Child Proteching Advisory Service (CCPAS). We take the safety of our children seriously and carefully select those who work with children using an application process and Criminal Records Bureau checks.
