We aim to train and equip men & women, children & young people to be effective in advancing God’s kingdom, to develop leaders, to plant new Vineyard churches and to be a blessing to the whole Church.

As a church community, we gather together on Sundays and at other times such as in small groups, to experience the dynamic presence of God. We want to be empowered in order to go back out into our neighbourhoods, families, friendships, workplaces, schools & colleges, to share God's love with others. God is establishing a strong base at Riverside Vineyard which provides increasing resources, training and care for people as well as a spring-board for church planting and participation in world missions.

We have a number of priorities, things to which we give our time, energy and resources: Worshipping God with all of our lives and placing a priority on gathering to worship together as a church family Prayer is vital to our relationship with God, as we talk with Him and He with us, recognising our need for His Kingdom to come. We believe in the authority of the Bible as God's word, and are committed to the practical teaching and application of the bible as a guide for our lives. Responding to people's practical needs out of a heart of love & justice. Encouraging genuine, real relationships. A welcoming, inclusive church that brings diveristy together in unity. Reaching out to others locally, nationally & internationally. Playing our part in planting new Vineyard churches. Seeking to continue the ministry of Jesus in seeing lives set free, healed, made more whole. We want to be a church that effectively trains people & leaders to be & to do all that He's calling us to. We want to be people equipped to do life well, and to reach out to help others do the same.
